Semi-final draw Carabao Cup 2022/2023 It’s already done. Nottingham Forest encounter Manchester UnitedSouthampton meeting Newcastle United.
The Carabao Cup just completed its quarterfinals, Thursday (12/1/2023) at WIB morning. The shock came when Southampton got rid of Manchester City with a score of 2-0.
Southampton’s escape was accompanied by Nottingham who beat Wolverhampton on penalties with a score of 4-3. The two teams drew 1-1 for 120 minutes.
The two sides followed other semi-finalists, Manchester United and Newcastle United, who qualified first last Wednesday (11/1).
From the results of the draw that followed, Nottingham will play MU and Southampton will play Newcastle.
The semi-final was held over two legs. Went on January 23 and returned a week later. The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final at Wembley on 26 February.
