Toyota officially released the limited edition Aygo X 2023. This special variant of the Toyota Aygo X has received a touch from a famous designer, Jun Takahashi, a Japanese fashion designer who created the Undercover brand.
Quoted from the site Autoevolution, The Toyota Aygo X Undercover was launched at the same time as the Paris Fashion Week exhibition. Only 5,000 units of this car were made and possibly only available for the European market.
From the exterior, the Toyota Aygo X Undercover displays masculinity with a combination of gray on the body and black on the grille, sideskirt, wheels and trunk door. Apart from that, there are also red accents at several points such as in the bumper, wheels and side skirt areas, giving it a sporty spirit.
While Undercover’s identity is pinned on the roof, with the words ‘Chaos’ and ‘Balance’. Then on the interior carpet, there is the inscription Aygo X Undercover by Jun Takahashi. The floor mat of this car is patterned with a monogram.
In the UK, Toyota will market the Aygo X Undercover at a price of £ 20,095 or the equivalent of Rp. 368.3 million. This price is more expensive than the Aygo X Air Edition variant £ 19,365 (Rp. 354.9 million), the Exclusive and Edge variants which sell for £ 18,895 (Rp. 346.3 million) and £ 17,085 (Rp. 313.1 million) respectively, or the Pure variant £ 15,975 (Rp 292.8 million).
The Toyota Aygo X is equipped with a 1,000 cc engine that can produce a maximum power of 72 PS (71 hp/53 kW). This car is only offered with a choice of front-wheel drive. The Aygo X itself was first introduced at the end of 2021 as a crossover version of the Toyota Aygo. This car is built on the GA-B platform shared with the Aqua, Yaris and Yaris Cross.
