“Not So Impossible Lair” brings checkpoints

Playtonic is working on an update for Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, which defuses the crisp level of difficulty with an alternative mode (easy). If you set “Not So Impossible Lair” at the beginning, there will be several checkpoints in the level, at which the best “Bee Shield Score” is saved. At the same time, the level can start again from these checkpoints. However, the developers make it clear that this system will be completely optional and as an alternative to the normal “Impossible Lair”. In addition, “Tater-Tot Tunes” has created an optional 8-bit soundtrack for each 2D level of the game, which can be activated in the menu soon. The corresponding update is planned for April 14th.
