Bethesda Game Studios is once again making money on The Elder Scrolls V, which was slowly released ten years ago, and you certainly can’t just upgrade from an earlier version for free.
While The Elder Scrolls VI is still years away (which is why it was announced too early that year at E3 by Todd Howard), as the studio will be bringing us Starfield for the first time next year (of course it’s better to doubt the release periods because we’ll hear it again lately about a ton of play that only gets to us later than the time announced so far) and only after him is Todd Howard’s next work.
But the upgrade, it won’t be cheap. So, if we need The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and we have a previous re-release of the game that came out as the Special Edition, we still have to pay. The $ 20, calculated in euros, is approx. 7200 forint. Okay, there’s a free thing: if we upgrade from the PlayStation 4, Xbox One release to the 10th birthday celebrating Skyrim, we can migrate to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series for free if we have the Special and Anniversary Editions. is.
And what about those who would jump into the world of Skyrim for the first time? Well, do they have to hit the table even more? $ 50 or 20,000 forints (since it will be 55 euros here). As for the re-release of a ten-year game multiple times,… is a pretty big price tag. Okay, of course, it includes all the Creation Club add-ons, and if we had bought them one by one, $ 150 (approximately $ 54,000) would have left our bank account, but lately we don’t really ask for money for such upgrades, or at least not that much. Fishing, survival mode, the Saints & Seducers storyline, and the Rare Curios gear package will also be available for free to Special Edition owners.
For the modalities adopted by Bethesda (while the The Elder Scrolls V: Those made for Skyrim Special Edition will not work without extra work, we have already written about this) spending 7200 forints may not sound like the right decision. But anyway, another release of the game will be released on Thursday, November 11, so the mods will be released (and the mods say Thursday) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
