Not all Playstation 5 are equally quiet: Sony equips them with different fans

French Les Numériques have taken apart so many PS5s that they have found that Sony delivers different fans.

Sony is rolling on three different Playstation 5 fans

The quietest fans, with a more optimal design than those that make more noise, are released as test units, while those that make a little more noise appear to customers. That is the conclusion of the technology newspaper.

Not only does Sony have different manufacturers of fans, it is quite common for several manufacturers to supply the same components, but there are actually design differences. See under.t

These are the fans that are the fastest

Another thing is that there is noise level on the fans, if not large: we are talking from 43 dB to 39 dB for the best fan.

The two models each use different fans from a different manufacturer. Previously, Sony already released PS4 Pro and PS3 variants with fans from different manufacturers.
