It is blowing so hard in Norwegian Beitostölen that they have decided to cancel the sprint at the Norwegian premiere in Beitostölen.
– Safety comes first and with the wind conditions at the stadium, it is not defensible to conduct ski competitions, says competition director Torbjörn Broks Pettersen.
The entire arena is also closed due to the strong winds.
– It’s probably the right decision. It is life threatening, says sprint national team coach Arild Monsen to NRK.
