Norwegian shares rose 8.6 percent on Wall Street

The Oslo Stock Exchange rose 0.23 percent to 892.01 on Friday, and the rise this week was thus 5.5 percent. In the US, all the leading indices on Wall Street rose on the last trading day of the week.

Among the Norwegian shares, 4 out of 5 did better on Wall Street than in Oslo.

Today’s winner was Borr Drilling, which rose as much as 8.6 percent in New York, after closing down the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Golden Ocean was the only stock that did better on the Oslo Stock Exchange, despite the stock climbing almost 5 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.

Frontline and Equinor closed up 1.94 and 1.68 percent on Wall Street, respectively.
