Just days after Norway celebrated the official reopening, US health authorities have issued new travel advice. Norway is now ranked as “Level 4: Covid-19 Very High”. Category four is the highest level and Americans are thus strongly discouraged from traveling to Norway, writes CNN.
Our Scandinavian neighbors Sweden and Denmark are ranked level three.
The criterion for ending up in category four is 500 cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants over the last 28 days. In addition to Norway, Bulgaria has jumped up from category three to four.
