On Sunday afternoon, police arrested a 54-year-old man in Hürth. He is said to have shot a 39-year-old woman several times in a parking lot and seriously injured her.
A driver observed the crime in the Kendenich district around 2:30 pm. He called the emergency services and gave the fugitive’s license plate number.
Police arrested the 54-year-old at his home address. At the time of his arrest, the man had nearly two parts per thousand of alcohol in his blood.
