Nokia XR20 is a tough cellphone that doesn’t need to add a launch case

HMD Global finally launched WL unclaimed tough (hp) no need for additional casing, Nokia XR20.

Another toughness of this phone is being able to withstand extreme temperatures, falling from a height of almost 2 meters, to being submerged in water.

This phone has military certification MIL-STD810H- which makes it resistant to drops from a height of 1.8 meters. As well as IP68 certification, this phone is resistant to being submerged in water at a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. This certification also signifies that the phone is dustproof.

The screen of the device is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus which is twice as scratch resistant as Gorilla Glass 6.

With all this toughness, the phone body doesn’t seem to need an additional protective casing like most cellphones today.

Previously, Nokia had announced this through the Twitter page. In that post, it says on the body of the phone it says, with our latest Nokia phone, you don’t need an extra case. From the post it is implied that Nokia will launch a sturdy smart phone. The launch may take place on July 27, 2021.

Not only a tough body, but this phone is designed to be used for a long time. Nokia also guarantees that mobile phone security updates can be carried out for up to four years. Nokia also guarantees operating system updates for three years.

The Nokia XR20 sells for Rp.7.9 million (US$550; exchange rate of Rp.14,500.95). While the Nokia C30 and Nokia 6310 will be launched in certain markets.
