Lev Leshchenko stunned the Russians with disturbing news. The People’s Artist said that the famous New Year’s “Blue Light” on television may not be broadcast at all. At least the performer of the hit “Nightingale Grove” has not yet been invited to shoot.

“There is still no ‘light’. Only one concert in Crocus is filmed, which will be shown on television. I was not offered any Blue Light, they were not invited. There will only be one concert in Crocus, there are New Year’s duets – and that’s it, “the 80-year-old singer said briefly.

Lev Valeryanovich did not reveal any details about the plans of the heads of television. In a situation where many celebrities have canceled their concerts and refused to perform in Russia, apparently it will not be easy to get out of the situation.

The first “Blue Light” appeared on the first program of the USSR Central Television on April 6, 1962. Since then, every year the most famous artists have entertained the residents of the country on New Year’s Eve from the TV screens.

Recall that in recent months there have remained several stars in Russia canceled scheduled showstickets for which they were already partially sold out. These included Valeria and Stas Mikhailov. The artists returned all the money to the fans and noted that in the current situation it is not the time to have fun.

Previously, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, had announced the cancellation of the New Year and Christmas events in the region. The authorities decided to use all the money saved for the collection of volunteers and mobilized people who went to the NVO area. A similar decision was made by the Tomsk mayor’s office.
