Nissan continues to innovate its model line. He recently introduced a new one Ariya electric crossover a the concept of the successor to the sports car 370Z, Z Proto, and now another novelty follows. Welcome to the modernized Nissan Navara pick-up.
At first glance, you can recognize it by the redesigned bow with a more pronounced mask, thanks to which the car looks rougher than before. “The new Navara has a very recognizable look, but it’s more impressive now,” says about design changes Ken Lee, Nissan’s senior designer for pickups and frame SUVs.
This is further emphasized by the newly offered PRO-4X version with a more athletic look thanks to the black emblem combined with orange details or 17 “black wheels fitted with off-road tires. At the same time, however, practicality was also considered when there is a new step in the rear bumper for easier access to the body.
The most important change, however, is the improvement of assistance systems. The frontal collision warning or automatic braking function has been incorporated. The Intelligent Around View Monitor camera system can now be used not only for parking, but also for off-road driving. It monitors possible terrain obstacles.

But we also worked on the mechanics. The rear axle has been reinforced to increase payload, while the new steering rack provides better handling at lower speeds. New sealing materials, in turn, suppress vibrations and ensure better sound insulation.
On the contrary, the carmaker does not mention the offered engines at the moment. Currently, the car is available in the Czech Republic with a 2.3 dCi four-cylinder diesel in two power versions with 120 kW and 140 kW, which should therefore be maintained, only possibly adapted to the latest emission standards.
The modernized Nissan Navara will go on sale in the Thai market later this December. Other markets will follow. In Mexico and South America, this pick-up will then continue to be sold as the Nissan Frontier. The carmaker itself considers pick-ups to be a part of its DNA, after all, the first generation of Navara arrived in 1985.
