We can do kung fu, paddle fitness, basketball or even beach rugby in Niort Plage. The event will be held well this summer on the Pré-Leroy site. Without the swimming pool – still under renovation – but still with dozens of activities, most of them free. 18 associations responded present.
Among the new features: yoga, minigolf, marbles course and showdown, a kind of table tennis for the visually impaired.
160 people maximum at the same time on the site
The opening is a little delayed compared to usual. Niort Plage opens on Friday July 17 until August 23. Because it was necessary to organize and adapt to health rules. There may be some relaxations but for now what is expected is that the site will be closed and the filtered entries for not to exceed 160 people at the same time in Pré-Leroy. The activities will be organized in poles of ten people maximum.
The material will be disinfected after each use, this applies for example to canoe paddles, and even life jackets. The staff has been reinforced, six people will be on site.
Another novelty in the organization this year, for paid activities such as paddleboarding or canoeing, it is now possible to book via the Niort Marais poitevin tourist office website. No more bother to move.
