The Mario Kart Tour mobile game for iOS and Android can now also be played in landscape mode. Until now it has only been possible to race vertically in portrait mode, but a new update changes that. There is also a new button layout.
Nintendo says that the update for Mario kart Tour can be downloaded on Tuesday. In the update it is possible to rotate the screen and play in landscape mode. Playing in portrait mode, which was the only option until now, remains possible.
The update also changes the layout of the buttons. For example, steering is no longer with a button in the middle of the screen, but at the bottom left. Throwing items goes in landscape mode from the top right of the screen. Nintendo also added in March the multiplayer option for the game off, which was hinted at from the release last year.
