An armed attack occurred on Friday night at the San Fernando hostel, on the Celaya-Salamanca highway, left a preliminary balance of nine dead and one injured.
According to local media, corporations from the three levels of government went to the scene to cordon off the area.
Witnesses said armed individuals stormed a hostel restaurant and they shot at the diners.
In accordance with Red Note Celaya Guanajuto, in the parking lot of the restaurant two men lay lifeless, while inside the restaurant there were others executed and two women also lifeless.
