CelebritiesNikkie de Jager (26) will be the face of a new program at AVROTROS. In the talent show ‘Make-up Cup’, the YouTube star, better known as NikkieTutorials, is looking for the new best make-up artist in the Netherlands.

The ten participants of ‘Make-up Cup’, which can be seen at Zapp from 9 January, must show in both technical and creative assignments what they can create with eyeshadow and brushes. Nikkie, who herself is known for colorful make-up looks that she shows on her YouTube channel, assesses the young talents on technique and creativity.

Nikkie is looking forward to presenting the talent show. “I think it’s fantastic that I can share my love for make-up with the new generation”, says Nikkie. “The participants all have their own story and that is reflected in their work and ideas. It is so amazing to see the passion in all these young talents.” That is how it once started with her, she says.

In each episode she will be assisted by additional jury members such as Miljuschka Wiltzenhausen, Jamai Loman, Monica Geuze and Roxeanne Hazes. In the final, in which the best make-up artist in the Netherlands is chosen, Davina Michelle pays a visit.
