“Night at the Museum”: Tap Dance Show with Children of All Abilities in Colomiers, France

Rhythm’n taps, the tap dance section of the Club Loisirs Léo Lagrange in Colomiers, is fine-tuning the final details of its traditional end-of-year show which will bring together around forty members, from babies (from 4 years old), to the most seasoned pros. “Night at the Museum” will be presented on Saturday June 3 at the Hall Comminges, from 8:30 p.m.

“Five children with disabilities will dance with our students, following our partnership with the medico-educational institute (IME) of Lezat sur Lèze, in Ariège. The IME also contributed to the creation of the sets”, specifies Fanny Raynaud , professor of the section.

With “Night at the Museum”, the public will discover behind the scenes, as we announced at the curtain raiser: “Ladies and gentlemen, the museum will soon be closing its doors. The portraits will finally be able to stretch their legs, frogs spring from under the water lilies, but watch out! The guards are watching…”

The rest of the story will be reserved for the spectators, who will discover it once installed in the stands, facing the Hall Comminges track where Fanny and her students will perform.

About 1,800 children from schools in Colomiers and the surrounding area, and their teachers, will also have the first of the discovery, Friday, June 2, during the school mornings reserved for them. “It has always been our tradition, and we are very attached to it!” reminds Fanny.

This small section with a big heart and very beautiful shows sees the days getting shorter as D-Day approaches. Busy with the final preparations, the volunteers thank in advance those who want to register directly, via the online ticket office set up this year on Helloasso: www.helloasso.com/associations/clll-danse-a-claquettes/evenements/spectacle-de-claquettes-le-musee-s-eveille
