Some positive but asymptomatic patients, the medical department of the Basilotta hospital in Nicosia closes. The positives were transferred to the Leonforte covid center.
This was announced by the mayor of Nicosia, Luigi Bonelli: “I inform the citizens, in response to some of their concerns, that I have heard from the Health Director of our hospital who updated me and reassured me on the situation in the Medicine department: some patients, positive but fortunately asymptomatic, they were transferred to the Covid ward in Leonforte; another 4 patients, negative to the test, will be transferred to the east wing of our hospital; between this afternoon and tomorrow the ward will be sanitized and therefore we will continue to proceed with ordinary hospitalizations in a normal situation “.
