Zaniolo has left the capital. After threats received in the night between 29 and 30 January, the Giallorossi striker decided to take a break period Of reflection away from the environment hot From Rome. On Sunday night a very serious episode took place – in which the intervention of the police was necessary – outside the home of the Roma footballer, ended up in the eye of the storm after expressing the will to change team during the winter transfer market session (which will close on Tuesday 31st at 20), denying – as you know – your own availability to answer the summons Of Mourinho.
But the anger of the fans does not subside.
After the night protest this morning a mega banner was posted in front of the Giallorossi sports centre. «Away from Trigoria men of little importance, cowards and profiteers: unconditional support only for those who respect our colours! Rome”.
The previous night, however, on the bridge in via degli Annibaldi, near the Colosseum, a banner had appeared insulting the player by the fans. While Zaniolo’s entourage confirms the threats and insults, and “regrets what happened hoping to take a step back, even at the level of communication, by everyone, including the club”, also Blessed, the footballer’s sister writes on Instagram: “Words are not needed … Only so much pain for you”. “To have originated all this hatred seems a little excessive to me,” she wrote there mamma in an Instagram story that was later deleted.
An attitude, that of the attacker, which first unleashed the heavy reaction of the club and of the Portuguese coach himself, then that of the fans. Both the Special One and the gm Pinto have publicly downloaded Zaniolo while, in the streets of the capital and outside the technical center of Trigoria, banners have appeared (like the one in via degli Annibaldi, a stone’s throw from the Colosseum, on the night between Saturday and Sunday) and heavily offensive writings aimed at the footballer and his mother .
But now, someone has decided to cross the line. After the defeat suffered by Roma against Napoli on Sunday evening, some fans gathered outside the boy’s home, an attic in the Torrino, to threaten and insult him. The episode pushed the team manager, reached on the phone by Zaniolo, very frightened (it seems that the player looked out onto the street to see the fans in the face, and that he had already been insulted by people on the street for the first time) to request the intervention of the police. A patrol immediately went to the scene to monitor the situation, already calm, however, when the agents arrived. Meanwhile, the attacker has taken out from his Instagram profile the description «Football player As Roma».
A sign of break up at this point total between the player and the club, as well as with the piazza. But it could also be a clue to market, which however will officially close in a few hours. Self Zaniolo should he not find a team (to his liking) willing to sign him, very difficult months to manage are expected for the player.
