Nick called Novak a “tool” and even went so far as to call him a “strange cat”.

Djokovic even said he disrespected Kyrgios outside the tennis court, which offended the Australian star. During the pandemic, Novak hosted an exhibition tournament which was criticized for its timing. Kyrgios then expressed his opinion in contradiction to the Serbian superstar.

However, since Djokovic is the player he is, he found a way to ignore his pain and eventually won the match by improving his game in the crucial set. He will face Canada’s Milos Raonic in the fourth round today.
