Despite not being confirmed yet, it looks suspiciously like we’re getting a sequel to the after credits scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home. We get a series in which Nick Fury from Samuel L. Jackson will play an important role.
The news was revealed via Variety. Not much is known about the Disney + series to be written by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot, Copper). Of course it could be a series about Fury’s individual adventures, but that probably offers little real innovation.
S.W.O.R.D. / Secret Invasion-serie?
The after credit scene with Nick Fury on a Skrulls spaceship or station was seen as a first hint to SWORD (Sentient World Observation and Response Department) and / or some sort of ‘Secret Invasion’ storyline.
Chances are then again that the series has a relationship with Captain Marvel 2 which is currently still scheduled for the summer of 2022. Keep of course SerieTotaal.nl keep an eye out for new updates!
