NHL: Raffl with Flyers again humiliated by NY Rangers – winter sports

The New York Rangers are currently the feared opponent of the Philadelphia Flyers. Just eight days after the 9-0 defeat, Michael Raffl and Co. set a 3: 8 on their own ice.

The guests are already 6: 0 (!) Ahead after just 22:42 minutes, so the bankruptcy could have been even worse. Mika Zibanejad scores a hat trick (14./PP, 21./PP, 23./PP) and spreads three assists over the rest of the evening, so she is involved in six of eight goals.

Already at 0: 9 he was able to score six points – to produce that in two consecutive games against the same opponent is a new NHL record.

The remaining goals go to Strome (9th), Buchnevich (9th, 41st), Miller (23rd) and Chytil (59th). Giroux (24th), Hayes (34th) and Coutourier (42./PP) meet for the Flyers.

Raffl stands 12:14 minutes on the ice and receives a ten-minute disciplinary penalty one and a half minutes before the end after a mass brawl in which the frustration erupts. Five other players are penalized between 2 and 10 minutes.

Wild at home still untamed

Marco Rossi’s franchise, the Minnesota Wild, continues its winning streak on home ice with a 2-1 win over the St. Louis Blues. It is the eleventh success en suite for which Johansson (26th) and Kaprizov (36th) are responsible.

The run of Andrei Vasilevskiy, the goalkeeper of the Tampa Bay Lightning, comes to an end with the 3: 4 at the Dallas Stars after twelve games.

The news is even worse for Tukka Rask, the Boston Bruins goalie, who was injured from the ice in the 3: 4 overtime against the New York Islanders.

Sidney Crosby breaks the mark of 1,300 career assists with his Pittsburgh Penguins 4-0 over the still helpless Buffalo Sabers, contributing a total of three.

Rocco Grimaldi shoots the Detroit Red Wings almost single-handedly, scoring four hits himself in the 7-1 of his Nashville Predators.

Columbus Blue Jackets – Carolina Hurricanes 3:4 n.OT.
