But a few actions later, the Giants had scored to regain the advantage over the Philadelphia Eagles (14-10, 39th) and store the bloopers without consequence the fall of their quarterback.

The Giants even believed they made the difference six minutes from time when Jones found Sterling Shepard for a new touchdown (21-10, 54th). But these Eagles, as irregular as they were unruly, still had resources. Carson Wentz first found Greg Ward to quickly reduce the score (21-16, 56th) after an offensive series of 78 yards in just 1’39. And then in the last minute after a new penalty against them, the Philadelphia players ended up finding the solution, via a spectacular reception from Boston Scott to regain, definitively, the advantage (22-21, 60th).
