News – Justice | Accident on the A31: several kilometers of slowdown between Luxembourg and Metz

It would seem that the routine resumes for French cross-border commuters going to or returning from Luxembourg. It must be said that with the reopening of the borders on June 15, traffic will significantly return to normal between the two countries.

This Monday afternoon, an accident involving several vehicles took place in Oeutrange, north of Thionville, around 3:30 p.m., in the Luxembourg-Metz direction.

According to witnesses on the spot, four vehicles collided, blocking the left lane, along the central reservation.

An accident which caused many traffic jams: at 4 p.m., Bison Futé reported more than 10 kilometers of slowdown on this stretch of road, very popular with French border residents on the way back.

However, the accident did not cause any injuries.

The area was finally cleared shortly after 5 p.m., although traffic was still complicated between Zoufftgen and Entrange, with 6 km of traffic jams still recorded at the end of the afternoon.
