– Just after 3 pm on Sunday, we received a report of a serious theft from Minnesund in Eidsvoll, says operations manager Kjetil Ringseth in the Eastern police district.
Over the weekend, someone broke open a container with copper drums.
– Several drums have been stolen, around four tonnes of copper, Ringseth says.
Police have been on the scene and conducted a crime scene investigation.
According to NTB, a truck was used in connection with the theft. The contents of the container have a value in the 100,000 kroner class.
