Eastern Traffic revealed the circumstances of an accident that a car ran over a number of motorcyclists on the Qatif Corniche, yesterday, Friday; Which resulted in a number of injuries.
Traffic said: The accident occurred after cyclists exceeded the red light; As a result, they collided with a vehicle, which resulted in (3) moderate injuries. They were referred to the Traffic Authority to apply the penalties imposed against them.
Sources had toldNews24“: The group of bikes that appeared in the video were walking in an irregular group, and all the drivers were not committed to the safety dress code, and it happened that they crossed the red light when a car driven by a woman passed from the other side, which led to a collision with a number of them exceeding 6 people.
The sources added that the accident resulted in the registration of a number of injuries, some of which were treated at the accident site, and the rest of the cases were transferred to Qatif Central Hospital to complete treatment.
