Mexico City is preparing to host the New York Yankees in a preseason game against the Diablos Rojos del México at the remodeled Alfredo Harp Helú stadium next Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25.

With the exhibition games, the New York Yankees will close their Spring Training meetings, prior to starting the 2024 season on Thursday, March 28 in Houston. While the Red Devils will begin the 2024 season on April 11.

Despite the excitement of receiving the MLB’s top winner, not all of the club’s players will come. The Yankees team has already defined the players who will travel to Mexico City for the match.

Which New York Yankees players will come to Mexico for the game against Los Diablos?

According to information from reporter Chris Kirscher, who covers the Yankees for The Athletic, he reported that the Mexican and Mexican-American players who are part of the roaster will be some of those who will come to Mexico City.

“José Treviño, DJ LeMahieu, Juan Soto, Giancarlo Stanton, Jonathan Loáisiga, Víctor González and Alex Verdugo are among the regular (players) who go to Mexico City,” Kirscher wrote on his social networks.
