Train traffic around the clock
Cuomo also announced the resumption of 24-hour operation of the subway on May 17th. In May 2020, when New York was struggling particularly hard with the virus, train traffic was interrupted overnight so that the wagons could be disinfected. Train traffic is currently suspended between two and four in the morning.
