New York City is going to introduce a health pass to get to restaurants, gyms or theaters. It was the French health pass that inspired the mayor of New York.
Don’t call it a health pass, but a “Key to NYC pass”. For the first time in the United States, a vaccination passport will be set up and it is the city of New York which will establish it. The city’s Democratic mayor, Bill de Blasio, made the decision on Tuesday, August 3.
This health passport will apply to customers and employees. It will be essential to have access to restaurants, sports halls or performance halls. The “key to NYC pass” will come into effect on August 16. Controls will begin on September 13.
