A diagnostic tool
“Innovation and job creation led by women entrepreneurs matter a lot to the health of the global economy. However, our study shows that some cities and countries are doing much more than others to encourage and support the many start-ups created by women, ”explains Karen Quintos, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Dell.
“The lessons of the WE Cities Index are useful in moving from the stage of raising the awareness of legislators and public authorities to taking action and creating the conditions for women entrepreneurs to have a greater economic impact in global scale, ”she added.
Because women entrepreneurs always face prejudices: an American study recently revealed that, for example, they raise less funds… because of the questions asked by investors.
