New York State Attorney General Letitia James sued Amazon on Wednesday for failing to take sufficient measures to protect its workers, especially during the worst moments of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Throughout this historic pandemic, Amazon has repeatedly failed to fulfill its obligations to institute reasonable and adequate measures to protect its workers and prevent the spread of the virus at its facilities in New York City,” James said in your lawsuit filed with the state Supreme Court.
