New York Red Bulls does not renew with Daniel Royer

Daniel Royer’s time at New York Red Bulls is over. Coach Gerhard Struber’s club will not take the option of the Austrian.

As the club from New York announced, the option to extend Daniel Royer’s contract will not be used. The 31-year-old is therefore available for a free transfer in January.

The offensive player moved from Midtjylland (Denmark) to New York in the summer of 2016. In 156 games Royer scored 50 goals and prepared 19 goals. Most recently Royer acted as a substitute under coach Struber.
