New York-Paris flight narrowly avoids crash while landing at Roissy

In recent weeks, the Boeings have been in turmoil. After the crash in China and Costa Rica, the New York-Paris flight avoided the worst when it landed at Roissy airport, after a serious incident.

A investigation is open for a “incident grave‘occurred at theRoissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport this Tuesday. The plane had returned, after a quiet flight, in the last stage of its approach phase, descending in the axis of the runway, when the pilots noticed that the aircraft no longer responded to the controls and deviated. They then had to perform a “go around“, be one emergency go-around, while they were only 400 meters above sea level! This maneuver allowed them to return to land afterwards, without damage.

The exchanges between the cabin and the tower were broadcast, demonstrating real stress on the part of the pilots and controllers. One of the pilots will even mention “a flight control problem, the plane did just about anything“. Not very reassuring, but the passengers did not feel anything about it and were able to land in France normally. The Bureau of Investigation and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety announced to open “a security investigation“, after this incident which could have led to a serious accident.
