The Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge. At the weekend, however, there is another highlight to be seen in New York: Formula E is a guest in the US metropolis and lets the tires of its purely electric racing cars smoke at the port of Brooklyn. Despite the unique view, the 22 racing drivers have to concentrate fully on the streets and curves of the Brooklyn Street Circuit. Because the two races on July 16 and 17, 2022 mean one thing above all: final sprint! Only six more races in three major cities around the world. Then the next Formula E World Champion will be determined. Four drivers from four different teams have broken away from the field of drivers in the overall standings. After the race in Marrakech, Edoardo Mortara is at the top. But close behind him are Jean-Éric Vergne, Stoffel Vandoorne and Mitch Evans. Who will get the next important points for the 2022 world title in the Big Apple? ProSieben shows both races live from 6:30 p.m. Presenter Andrea Kaiser and influencer and racing driver Felix von der Laden are right on the track for #ranFormelE. In the studio: moderator Matthias Killing, commentator Eddie Mielke and expert Daniel Abt.
