The governor of the US state New York has extended the curfew imposed due to the corona virus until mid-June.
A decree signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo on Thursday evening extends restrictions on metropolitan New York City and surrounding counties until June 13.

Only five less densely populated regions of the state are excluded. Certain branches of the economy are allowed to restart there step by step.
New York is the most coronavirus hit area in the United States. In the metropolis, more than 20,000 deaths have already been registered from the lung disease Covid-19 caused by the coronavirus.
