New Year’s trumpets, new fuel rules apply, this banned petrol is no need to search!–(dok/radarkaur.co.id)
JAKARTA, RADARKAUR.CO.ID – The new year 2023 is coming in a few hours. The government immediately implemented the new fuel rules.
As of January 1, 2022 at 00.01 WIB, along with the 2023 New Year’s trumpet, there are 3 types of fuel that are automatically banned from circulation in Indonesian territory.
According to the new fuel regulations, the 3 types of prohibited fuels are low quality fuels.
Formerly commonly referred to as petrol and bearing the Premium mark but containing octane levels below 90 RON.
For Pertamina products, there are 2 types, namely RON 87 and RON 88, both of which are branded Premidum.
Meanwhile, another type, namely BBM with the Revvo 89 brand owned by PT VIVO Energy Indonesia. This fuel has an octane content of 89 RON.
The new legislation on fuels complies with the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources n. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022.
Besides deciding to ban the 3 types of low quality fuel, the government has also commissioned Pertalite (RON 90) as Pertamina fuel to replace the allotted fuel.
Apart from that, in order to protect low-income people from getting subsidized fuel and distributing subsidized fuel in a targeted manner, the government will soon issue a new fuel regulation regarding the fuel purchasing mechanism.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is waiting for the revision of the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) n. 191 of 2014 on the Procurement, Distribution and Retail Sale Prices of Fuels.
