Residents of São Paulo and tourists who have decided to spend New Year’s Eve in the city will enjoy a variety of rhythms at the traditional party, open and free to the public on Paulista Avenue. The edition will also kick off the celebration of the city’s 470th anniversary.
The program includes concerts by nationally renowned artists such as Chitãozinho and Xororó, Zezé di Camargo and Claudia Leitte, as well as performances by a samba school, gospel singer Ton Carfi and DJ Cranmarry.
The musical shows will take place on a stage installed between Haddock Lobo and Bela Cintra streets. In order to ensure the safety of the public, access control and searches of people will be carried out.
