The police and the city agree: New Year’s Eve in Würzburg was peaceful and uneventful under the applicable Corona restrictions. Only the Alte Mainbrücke was shortly before midnight the starting point for several hundred people who wanted to greet the New Year there. After the curfew last year, which led to empty streets on New Year’s Eve, this time the New Year could only be welcomed inside and outside in groups of no more than ten people.
