Last month, Apple has been testing the beta of iPadOS 13.6along with that of iOS 13.6. There is at least one improvement we have already discovered in iPadOS 13.6, but there may be some other smaller improvements. All iOS 13.6 functions you can read in a separate article. You can also find a lot of that in iPadOS back. IOS 12.4.8 has been released especially for the older iPads, presumably with only security improvements.
iPadOS 13.6 available
One of the improvements that has already been discovered during the betas is the possibility to download and install updates automatically. Previously there was one switch to control automatic updates, but now there are two. You can now choose that updates can be downloaded automatically, but that the installation only happens if you want to.
In front of iPhone iOS 13.6 also brings something new to the Health app, but what improvements are still in iPadOS 13.6 is still unclear. Apple will at least have fixed some bugs. As soon as we know more about the exact content of the update and we have the release notes, we will update this article.
