New travel advice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: only two more …

The Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs is again updating travel advice regarding corona. From next Friday at 4 p.m., anyone who returns from Monaco and the region around the Czech capital Prague must also undergo a corona test, followed by home quarantine. In France and Croatia, a number of new regions are getting ‘code red’, just like the canton of Freiburg in Switzerland.

In France these are the regions of Ain, Corse-du-Sud, Côte-d’Or, Essonne, Gard, Haute-Corse, Haute-Garonne, Martinique, Réunion, Seine-et-Marne, Vaucluse and Yvelines. These areas are on top of the list of departments that already turned red. This includes the region around the capital Paris.

In Croatia the regions around Dubrovnik-Neretva and Pozega-Slavonia turn red.

In Spain it is possible to travel again to La Palma, El Hierro, and La Gomera, although a test and quarantine are still recommended for those returning from there. Tenerife has already received the ‘orange’ stamp. Andorra in Romania remain completely red.

Bulgaria is a completely orange zone, just like Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg in Malta. Except for Prague too Czech Republic full orange area. In Denmark Test and quarantine is now also recommended for return from the regions around the capital Copenhagen and southern Denmark. In Italy the regions of Veneto, Liguria, Lombardy, Campania, Sardinia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Bolzano and Trent were given the orange color code. In front of Portugal it concerns the areas around Lisbon, the Norte region and the Algarve.

The advice for the other regions can be found via diplomatie.belgium.be. Non-essential travel to countries outside the EU, the Schengen zone or the United Kingdom is still prohibited. Anyone who is staying abroad for more than 48 hours must in any case complete the Passenger Locator Form.
