New Tivoli Facelift from KG Mobility: The Perfect Alternative to Dacia Duster

Known as a perfect alternative to the Dacia Duster, the Tivoli SUV receives an updated version in the middle of this year from the KG Mobility. It is the new name adopted by the South Koreans from SsangYong since the end of March. With this brand change, the Asian manufacturer began to work intensively on updating the models in the range.

We now meet the new Tivoli facelift, the compact SUV from the Asian manufacturer’s portfolio completely abandoning the SsangYong name on this occasion. Not only that, but Tivoli now also receives some aesthetic changes. For example, in the front we see a new bumper, the Tivoli taking on this occasion a slightly sportier look. Next, we notice a thin upper grille, alongside a generously sized air intake.

Also in the aesthetic chapter, appropriate Carscoops, the Tivoli facelift gets a new set of 18-inch rims this summer. We also notice some slightly modified side sills, which now receive even more protective elements imitating aluminum. Finally, under the bumper we can also see a new protective shield.

Starting price below 13,000 euros for the new Tivoli

Inside, the new Tivoli facelift keeps the 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and the 9-inch central display. In addition, the SUV now receives 14 new active safety systems and touch buttons for the climate system. Customers can also now choose decor elements in several different colors.

Technically, the Tivoli facelift can be equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline unit capable of developing 126 horsepower and a maximum torque of 155 Nm. Customers who want a little more power can turn their attention to a 1.5-liter turbo unit capable of delivering 163 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. The transmission is provided by means of a six-speed automatic box.

Already available in South Korea, the Tivoli SUV has an extremely affordable starting price for all drivers of only 12,800 euros.
