After Tenerife, Faro and Beirut, the flight schedule from Nice airport (Alpes-Maritimes) is finalized for summer 2024.

And you don’t necessarily need to go very far, although flights go to Abu Dhabi, Dubai (with the legendary A380) and Philadephia, for a change of scenery. These three new summer destinations are not the best known, but are worth the detour.

Aalborg in Denmark for 60 euros

First of all: direction the North. After all the destinations in the sun, why not visit Denmark? The airport will be connected, from June 3 until October 25, to Aalborg, with two weekly flights, Mondays and Fridays, from 66 euros one way with Norwegian (59 euros return).

This city was considered one of the ten best places to visit in the world, in 2019, by the New York Times. Its colorful streets and buildings give this city its unparalleled charm, despite our colorful facades in Nice. Culture is an important part of Aalborg.

Yerevan in Armenia for 155 euros

The capital of Armenia, of which a large community lives in Nice, is finally connected to the capital of the Riviera with the company FlyOne. From May 2 to October 24, two weekly flights, Thursdays and Sundays, will depart from Nice for one way at 155 euros for the cheapest ticket.

Yerevan (or Yerevan) is known for its Republic Square, its Cascades Monument and, of course, its Armenian Genocide Memorial. Going to Armenia means immersing yourself in history since the capital is one of the oldest cities in the world.

Nuremberg in Germany for 80 euros

Finally, the second largest city in Bavaria, Germany, is connected to Nice from May 2 to October 25 with two weekly flights, Mondays and Fridays, operated by the low-cost airline Eurowings. Tickets to Nuremberg start at 80 euros.

The city that hosted the famous trial against Nazi criminals after World War II is also known for its old town. Its imperial castle offers a perfect view of the entirety of Nuremberg.
