“The fun text motivates the members of our national team,” said Maťo Ďurinda, the director of the group, about the new composition, to which the president of the Slovak Ice Hockey Association, Miroslav Šatan, also mentioned the form of the anthem.
“When we discussed the song (at the union), Mr. Šatan thought it would be appropriate to have a typical Slovakian sound. That’s when we all asked ourselves what the typical sound of our country is. And we all immediately thought it was a hoax. We were glad we agreed on this straight away. And so we put the sound of the fujara into the song,” said the website cas.sk Ďurinda.
The Slovakian rockers created a thirty-second goal version, which also includes fujara and chants from the fans.
The website pravda.sk reminds us that the composition Nech Bože dá, published in 2001 by Milan Špaňo, is probably the most popular in Slovakia of the thematic creations there before.
“Now there is a heavy standard going to the market with the skin, which Tublatanka is without a doubt,” said the website.
