California singer Thea Taylor came from a Latter-day Saint family where she began making music in church from an early age. It went off track in her teens when she started experimenting with drugs and was admitted to a clinic. Now she uses her experiences in her songs with often harsh lyrics, but with a soothing tone.
Her latest song “Trailer Trash” resembles a Taylor Swift single with extreme lyrics about drug use and the difficult life in trailer parks of the United States. It is on a positive guitar rhythm that the heavy lyrics are a bit less harsh, but it is pleasant to listen to. Thea Taylor’s voice is very clear and strong, it fits perfectly with the acoustic guitar. “Trailer Trash” brings heavy material to a great guitar tune with a beautiful voice. Definitely worth a listen, as this could well be a future star.
