After the release of “The Last of Us: Part 2” a few days ago, “Ghost of Tsushima” is the next potential PS4 exclusive highlight.
In Japan, too, Sony Interactive Entertainment recently started promoting the new Sucker Punch project accordingly. So a short trailer was published, which gives us fresh impressions from “Ghost of Tsushima” and is available for viewing below these lines.
Stop the Mongol invasion
“Ghost of Tsushima” transports you to the eponymous island of Tsushima. In the late 13th century, the warriors of the mighty Mongol Empire ravaged entire nations on their campaign to conquer the East. The island of Tsushima is the last bastion that is still between mainland Japan and a huge Mongolian invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cruel General Khotun Khan.

The players take on the role of samurai Jin Sakai, who is described as one of the last survivors of his clan. He is determined to do whatever it takes to protect the population at all costs and take back his home.
“He has to abandon the traditions that made him a warrior, to take a new path – the path of the spirit – and wage an unconventional war to regain freedom from Tsushima,” continued Sucker Punch.
“Ghost of Tsushima” will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 from July 17, 2020.
