The legendary TV show returns to your screens. This Tuesday, February 13, the first episode of the new season of Koh-Lanta called “The Immunity Hunters” will be broadcast at 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
Among the 20 candidates, Maxime, 43, is from the Rhône. After having tried several times to participate in the program “without taking too much care in his application”, he finally managed to attract the attention of production for this 2024 season. And he came out more than happy.

“I dreamed of doing it, but I never really gave myself the means. I have always followed the show with my family, I felt good inside. Building a cabin, finding food, doing tests… I love it! », admits Maxime.
Project manager in electrical engineering, this forty-year-old father of two lives in Francheville and often works in Lyon. Sporty and very playful by nature, he felt “like a fish in water” during his adventure.
Koh-Lanta is clearly what we see on TV. This is survival, there is no lie. Me, I have this logical and strategic side which could give me an advantage in certain tests. I play to win, but I’m not a bad loser.

Denis Brogniart, a man with “a lot of charisma”
According to Maxime, the most difficult part of the adventure, “but at the same time the most fantastic”, was human relations. “We are in a tribe, we have to move forward together and not everyone has the same vision as us. During the councils, everyone wants to save their skin, it’s special to experience these moments. »
Another memorable memory for the Rhôdanien: meeting Denis Brogniart in person. “He has a lot of charisma! Having him in front of us when we usually see him on TV is something incredible. »
In any case, Maxime would be ready to resign “tomorrow” to redo the show because he loved it so much. The fact remains that he has yet to discover himself on TV. “I just kept to myself, and I really didn’t do it for any notoriety. So we’ll see what happens! », he concludes.
