The draft act on retirement pensions was prepared by NSZZ “Solidarność”. In 2015, internship pensions were promised by Andrzej Duda, who was running for the presidency for the first time, and recently submitted his bill on this matter. Thousands of Poles – men and women – are interested in them.

The “Solidarity” internship pension project has also been trying to push through for years. Their project of retirement pensions on October 28, 2021 was entered on the list of acts of the Sejm, and on December 14, 2021, the first reading took place. There was a motion to reject the bill at first reading. The vote that decided the fate of the project took place a day later.

Experts warn that in some cases, taking advantage of the internship pensions can mean many years of life at minimum rates. The Sejm submitted a motion to reject the motion of “Solidarity” at first reading, but President Andrzej Duda submitted his own proposal on this matter.
