Czech Television viewers could once again transfer to the fragrant kitchen through television screens and devour beautiful and tasty sweets with their eyes. Pecce the whole country started with the first episode its second series of popular culinary show, which was again moderated by the acting duo Tereza Bebarová (46) and Vaclav Kopta (56). Twelve people from all over the country this time they will strive for the title of the best amateur baker and confectioner under the supervision of a strict commission of Josef Maršálek (39) and Míša Landová, who replaced her colleague as a colleague Mirka van Gils Slavíková (61).

Another series of baking lovers called The whole country is baking he has completed the first part, the first tasks and, of course, the first elimination. Spectators Czech Television they could meet a group of twelve competitors, experience moments of tension with them, rejoice in success and, of course, nicely irritate their appetites for something sweet.
In addition to the tasks for the participants of the reality show, fans of the show were also surprised by a change in the jury. While in the previous series she was the right hand of a baker and confectioner Josef Maršálek confectioner and holder of the French title of Professeur en Sucre d’Art Mirka van Gils Slavíkováthis time in the role of a non-negotiable juror, the audience was able to meet a confectioner, blogger and queen of macaroons Miša Landová.
As in the past, the show was accompanied by a nice pair of popular actors Tereza Bebarová a Vaclav Kopta, which you may know from a number of Czech films and series. During the first series, Václav supplemented his shortcomings in his education. While, according to Tereza, he did not even know Linz dough before, this time he welcomed the audience by listing a number of sweet delicacies. The list of goodies ended with the words “classic”: “In Bohemia and Moravia, hell is always baked, baked and will be baked.” And the contestants could start preheating the oven.
Tricky tasks
The first competition task that Míša and Josef gave the adepts to win in the amount of 100 thousand crowns was on the topic of Bublanina. PAccording to Maršálek, this is a light starting recipe, but it is also quite a mess. “I hope we don’t have a dry bun show.” the leading Czech confectioner and author of many books on baking expressed his concerns.
Even baking a seemingly simple basic recipe did not go unnoticed. For example, contestant Micha sweated a lot during the challenge. He made too much dough, which he didn’t want to finish on the smaller plate in time. In the end, however, with the help of his rivals, he managed everything and was able to rest for a while.
Although it would be expected that everyone would make the bubble according to the same procedure, each of the competitors took it in their own way and brought a piece of their childhood and inspiration from their grandmothers’ baking art into baking.
Nevertheless, many competitors burned in a seemingly simple task. Míša and Josef often criticized them during the tasting lack of fruit and his batter falling to the bottom of the bun.
The second task that Josef Maršálek prepared for the competitors was whipped cream coffins, and that was a real trick. Even the new juror Míša easily rebuked her colleague for what she thought “departure” prepared for amateur bakers and confectioners. However, he objected to the fact that coffins with whipped cream are a Czech confectionery classic, and it is during their preparation that it turns out how the competitors feel about baking.
But many contestants baked this dessert for the very first time in their lives. The evaluation itself, which was anonymous, turned out to be very positive and the amateur confectioners received a standing ovation from both jurors.
The cake boiled everyone
The third and final challenge of this work was a layered cylindrical cake, which had the task of impressing the jury not only with its perfect decor, but also with its amazing taste. The participants of the reality show had four hours to complete the task. Seemingly a lot of time, but under psychological pressure and television cameras, it was completely different than when you bake in the comfort of your own kitchen.
As is usual in competitions, some had a bit of that sweet luck and fulfilled the assignment to number one, others were outraged, whether it is the consistency of the corpus, cream or the required height. 25 centimeters and have not fulfilled their task.
In the end, Michal left the first part, who, except for the coffins, did the least. Jana became the absolute winner of the first episode, who even cried with joy after the announcement and applause of the jury and moderators.
