On the website of the Stellantis concern, you can already see images of the new Peugeot 3008 electric drive modification E-3008. The official premiere is scheduled for September 12.
According to media information, images of the new Peugeot 3008 were “accidentally leaked” on the Internet yesterday, therefore, responding promptly to the incident, the manufacturer published them on its own website, and unlike the “accidentally” distributed ones, here they are in excellent quality.
The biggest surprise for fans of the model – 3008 now has a fastback or coupé body. In itself, it is an application for dynamics, at least visually, but the overall impression is further enhanced by the vertical lion claw lights, the rear spoiler and the radiator grille, the main element of which is the countless rhombuses that seem to flow from the center to the sides.
In the cabin, the main elements are the interestingly arranged central tunnel, the steering wheel with a straight upper and lower edge, as well as a curved 21-inch display mounted above the steering wheel that combines the instrument panel with the media system and head-up display.
It is known that the new Peugeot 3008 is built on the STLA Medium electric platform intended for C/D segment cars. It was previously reported that the model will be available with an electric and hybrid drive. In the first case, the maximum range is promised up to 700 km, the second mobility will be ensured by hybrids with a 1.2-liter turbo engine and a 48-volt electric motor built into a six-speed robotic gearbox, as well as a more powerful version, where a 1.6-liter turbo is combined with an increased capacity battery.
