New permission to move: step by step, how to request it during quarantine

The workers of the 24 activities called essential by the National Government, who have to move through the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), they must process a new circulation permit between Monday and Tuesday, before entering the new stage of the toughened mandatory quarantine.

As officially reported, workers who fulfill essential tasks and who have residence in the AMBA will have time from 0 in the morning and until Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. to renew their respective CUHC (Unique Circulation Enablers Certificate).

The procedure can be done through the CuidAR app, available for devices with Android system or through the government website www.argentina.gob.ar/circular, following the steps indicated by the system, to finally fill out the “Certificate” form Unique Circulation – coronavirus COVID 19 “.

Now, users will be obliged to report the patent number of the vehicle in which they will move during the quarantine and / or the SUBE card that they will use for public transport, data that was previously optional.

As stated, from Wednesday, July 1, all CUHCs previously granted will be removed and only three types of permits will be enabled:

– Essential activities, established in article 6 of DNU 297/2020, which must include the SUBE or patent number.

– Activities authorized by the Ministry of Productive Development, such as industrial parks, export industries and continuous cycle, who must use a private means of transportation.

– Special permissions.

Among the latter permits are: separated fathers and mothers, people who need to carry out urgent procedures and emergencies, and those who provide assistance to relatives.

In all these cases, the authorization to circulate will be valid for 24 hours and can be processed at most twice a week.

There will also be a movement certificate for those who are undergoing prolonged treatment, who must attach supporting documentation.

On the other hand, the government emphasized that all of them will be able to use public transport to get around, but for this they must enter the SUBE card number when processing the new certificate.

In this sense, the national authorities ratified that -from tomorrow- the limitations for the use of buses, subways and trains will come into force, which will be enabled only for the workers of the 24 essential activities and all the other exceptions mentioned above .

The Minister of Transport of the Nation, Mario Meoni, confirmed that special circulation permits will be granted for those workers who are not considered essential activities which will be for 24 hours and you can get two per week.

In the event that mobility must be due to force majeure, the minister warned that the person must support the authorization with the corresponding documentation or argumentation. For this reason, he also warned that the Government will not block the use of SUBE in public transport.

From 00:00 on Monday, only workers from the 24 essential activities authorized in DNU 297/20 will be authorized to use public transport (including cases of force majeure, who must attend to relatives, separated mothers and fathers, etc.) .
